Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 ‘Iron Maiden’ by Bulleteer Customs
Bulleteer Customs, a modification house from Bangalore has made a custom Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 called the ‘Iron Maiden’.
The custom Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 is more laid-back than the stock model, thanks to the wide ape hanger handlebars, custom fuel tank and ribbed seats. The side-boxes, fenders are custom as well. The design house has replaced the stock projector headlamp with a custom circular unit which looks like LED. Instead of conventional indicators, the bike features bar-end units. The single pod instrument cluster is custom as well. The bodywork features black-and-white paint job with black wheels, engine, frame and front suspension. The fork lock is on the side of the steering head.

Speaking of the suspension system, the front fork seems to have been borrowed from the Classic range. The rear uses the stock gas-charged twin shock absorbers. The 280 mm front and 240 mm rear disc are also stock.

The engine looks stock as well but comes with a black dual exit exhaust with chrome tips. The 499cc single cylinder triple spark engine with fuel injection makes 27.2 bhp at 5,250 rpm. 41.3 Nm of torque comes in at 4,000 rpm. The engine mates with a 5-speed transmission. The custom alloy wheels are shod with fatter rubber, to suit the character of the motorcycle.
