New York Live - Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0
The Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0 special edition has been revealed at the 2014 New York Auto Show today, benefiting from the track performance and the expertise of Toyota Racing Development (TRD).
Limited to 1,500 copies, the FR-S Release Series 1.0 will feature a customized aerodynamic kit with a rear spoiler and side fender garnish, TRD quad-tip exhaust system, TRD lowering springs and smart key with push-button start.
The special edition is presented in a bright 'Yuzu' exterior livery, along with HID headlights with LED daytime running lights.
In the cabin, the special edition receives a TRD steering wheel, TRD gear shift knob, black seats with T-pattern, dual automatic air conditioning and TRD logo cargo mat.
The Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0 comes with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters and Dynamic Rev Management technology.
Every copy will have its sequential release series badge (1 of 1500) set on a brushed aluminum shifter surround plate. Dealer dispatch is slated to start in August with prices set to begin under $30,000 (INR 18.10 lakh), not accounting a $755 (45,564 rupees) delivery charge.
