NAIAS Live: Scion Monogram Series tC unveiled
Toyota-owned Scion has just unveiled a Monogram Series for the tC coupe. The tC coupe gets a limited production run of 2,500 units and Scion charges $21,400 (Rs 13,16,100) for the manual variant and $22,400 (Rs 13,77,600) for the automatic transmission variant respectively.
The Monogram Series tC coupe gets leather seats, satellite navigation, smart key with push button start, heated front seats, leather gear shift knob, rear window, wiper, colour-keyed low-profile rear spoiler, carpet floor and cargo mat, upgraded centre console lid with accent stitching and upgraded interior rear trip.
The Monogram Series tC coupe gets a 2.5-liter DOHC 16-valve four-cylinder engine with dual variable valve timing that develops 179 hp and a peak torque of 233 Nm. The tC also gets traction control and vehicle stability control as standard. The tC coupe measures 4,486 mm in length, 1,796 mm in width, 1,415 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,700 mm.
