Left - Brilliance A3 SUV was supposed to debut at the Shanghai Motor Show this month in 4×4/4×2 configuration, featuring either a 1.6 or a 1.8-liter petrol engine. Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Limited is BMW's joint venture partner in China and the Germans weren't amused with this lookalike.

Right - BMW's mini crossover is a runaway success in Europe and in 2WD configuration with 1.8-liter petrol and 2.0-liter diesel engine helped BMW sell over 1,000 cars last month.
