Official - Skoda Octavia Scout gets a rough-road bodykit

Skoda has announced the new Octavia Scout, which will make its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

Skoda says the Octavia Scout is a smart crossover with powerful looks.

According to Skoda, the new Octavia Scout is a smart off-roader, which offers customers a unique package, plenty of space and modern safety, comfort and engine technologies.

The station wagon gets a rough-road bodykit, which compromises of underbody guards, skid guards and roof rails. Inside there is a 3-spoke multi-function leather steering wheel and a navigation system.

Skoda claims that the Octavia Scout features a state-of-the-art all wheel drive technology.

The new Skoda Octavia Scout features all-wheel drive technology with a Haldex-5 coupling. The ground clearance is increased by 33 mm as compared to the standard model. 17-inch alloys are offered as a standard fitment.

Two diesel engines and a petrol engine are offered on the new Octavia Scout, which are said to be 20% more economical, compared to the vehicle’s predecessor.

The interior sees features such as a multifunction steering wheel and a navigation system.
