Skoda strip teases its Facebook fans in the run up to the Rapid's preview
Skoda's European Rapid will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show but Skoda maybe in the mood to bring out the images of the car to heighten the anticipation of its budget sedan in the immediate future.
The Czech company, riding on a solid start 2012 has brought, is determined to make the year more eventful by plugging the gap between the Fabia and Laura.
It is constantly updating its Facebook fans with tightly cropped images of the Skoda Rapid hatch. We say hatch because the rear, unlike the Indian model, is a liftback design.

Indian Rapid vs European Rapid
The Skoda Rapid will feature a redesigned interior but most of the components will come from the Polo's parts bin. The exterior is styled like the MissionL concept car showcased at last year's Frankfurt Auto Show. The quality or finish could be a couple of notches better than the Indian Rapid and under the hood, Skoda could offer turbo-petrol engines.
We are waiting for the company to unload the official images to understand how much of the European Rapid is like its Indian cousin.
