Rear of the production Skoda VisionS (Skoda Kodiak) - IAB Rendering
Concept model to debut at 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
Skoda will unveil a precursor to the anticipated Skoda Kodiak (name unconfirmed) SUV at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Dubbed the Skoda VisionS, it gives an insight as to what a Skoda SUV, larger than the Yeti, will look like.
Following the render of its front-end, IAB's artist, Shoeb R Kalania has created a new render of its rear end, which could look close to the real-deal. Based on the cues from the VisionS concept, it features angular LED taillamps, dual exhaust pipes enclosed by the black-plastic bumper, triangular reflectors and a roof spoiler.
The Skoda Kodiak will adopt Skoda’s latest design language, and the front-end is characterized by angular lines, long butterfly grille and sleek LED headlamps with LED DRLs.

The Skoda SUV will ride on the MQB platform from the second generation VW Tiguan, and will also share engine lineup with its German cousin. It includes a lineup of 2.0-liter TSI and TDI engines with power outputs ranging from 150 PS (148 hp) to 240 PS (237 hp). An AWD system would be standard in top-end grades of the Skoda Kodiak.
