Apart from the offers mentioned above, Kawasaki has also introduced two new colour options - Metallic Spark Black/Lime Green and Lime Green/Ebony (KRT Edition) - for the Ninja 400. Both paint options, limited to just 10 units each, aim to attract more buyers during the high demand period. Kawasaki India has also added a new paint option to its litre-class supersport motorcycle, the ZX-10R. Deliveries of the new Lime Green/Ebony along with KRT edition Ninja ZX-10R will start in October.

While the company is offering special offers and new colour options in the Indian market to boost its sales, it is simultaneously also working on its 2020 line-up. A teaser image posted by the Japanese two-wheeler brand confirmed multiple motorcycle launches (at least five) between 7 October and 4 November. We expect to see all the models together at the 2019 EICMA motorcycle show in Italy.

The 2020 line-up will comprise new and updated models from the Japanese two-wheeler brand. The existing range will be updated to comply with the more stringent Euro-V emission norms. Expect the updated models to get new paint and graphics for a refreshed look.

The list of new models will include the company’s newest four-cylinder, quarter-litre product, the Ninja 250/ZX-25R. Previous reports hinted at two variants of the quarter-litre motorcycle – standard and higher performance. The latter, if launched, is likely to carry a higher power output number.

Kawasaki also teased its new, supercharged litre-class roadster in a recent video. The brand did not reveal many details, but the teaser video confirmed the addition of a supercharger to the upcoming motorcycle. Kawasaki’s current supercharger-equipped range includes H2, H2 Carbon, H2R (track-only), H2 HX and H2 HX SE.

Expect to see some solid performance numbers from the upcoming naked roadster. We may see a re-tuned version of Kawasaki’s existing 998 cc inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve, supercharged engine that powers the Ninja H2. The motor on the naked roadster will most likely carry relatively lower performance figures than the Ninja H2’s 231 PS (243 PS with RAM air) of peak power at 11,500 rpm and 141.7 Nm of max torque at 11,000 rpm.
