SsangYong Tivoli Air achieves 50% of annual sales target in 1 month

Over 25% of global annual sales target achieved.

Last month, SsangYong launched the SsangYong Tivoli Air, known as SsangYong XLV internationally, in South Korea. Launching the SsangYong Tivoli's extended version in the domestic market, SsangYong announced that it aims to sell 20,000 units of the new crossover annually.

Around 50% of this annual sales figure is expected to be contributed by the domestic market. Now, according to a report from Yonhap News, the company has already sold around 5,100 units in South Korea – over 50% of the domestic annual sales target.

The SsangYong Tivoli Air is simply an extended version of the SsangYong Tivoli, not a three-row version.

The SsangYong Tivoli measures 4,440 mm in length, 1,795 mm in width and 1,635 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,600 mm. Compared to the Tivoli, It's 245 mm longer and 45 mm/35 mm taller. The width and wheelbase have no difference. With the rear seats up, 720 litres of boot space is available, and by folding the 32.5-degree reclinable rear seats down, this number can be increased to 1,440 litres.

Noteworthy features include heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, ventilated driver's seat, heating function for the second-row seats, 220 volt inverter in the cargo area, 7-inch display for the infotainment system, reversing camera and 6-speaker sound system.

The SsangYong Tivoli Air is powered by the 1.6 e-XDi LET 1.6-litre diesel engine that produces 115 PS (114 hp) and 30.6 kg.m (300 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
