Ssangyong's EcoSport rival (to spawn a Mahindra SUV) shows its cabin, debuts in Geneva tomorrow
More spyshots of Ssangyong's Ford EcoSport rival wearing a production ready interior are available. While the exteriors are still tightly camouflaged, the interiors of this B-Segment SUV are seen here for the first time. The crossover is codenamed 'X100' and will donate its platform to the Mahindra S102 SUV.
The four-spoke steering wheel sports integrated controls for the music system. The instrument cluster is visible through two, large, circular pods trimmed with chrome. Seen here is a manual transmission variant, though an automatic gear selector can be seen in a different image.
The center console is dominated by a large infotainment display, below which we see buttons for the hazard light and music system. Towards the rear, the X100 gets an almost flat floor, which should add to the comfort of the fifth passenger.
The new crossover will be revealed in concept form at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show next week. The Ssangyong XLV concept as its called, will be shown with a three-row seating configuration, though a five-seat version, like the prototype spotted here, will also be made.
The XLV concept measures 4,430 mm in length, 1,845 mm in width, 1,600 mm in height and 2,600 mm in wheelbase. It will come powered by a 1.6-liter diesel engine paired to an electric motor, Ssangyong announced.
