More sporting variant of the small car could see production.

At the ongoing 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon, Suzuki has revealed the Suzuki Alto Turbo RS concept, based on the new generation Alto which went on sale exclusively in Japan last month.

As can be seen in the images, the Alto Turbo RS gets a full body kit with side skirts, new bumpers and a rear spoiler. The car rides on 17-inch OZ aluminium wheels with 165/45 tyres. The headlights get black clusters with projector beams with integrated LED daytime running lights.

Inside, the car sports Recaro bucket seats.

Suzuki says that the Alto Turbo RS is powered by a turbocharged engine, but hasn't released specifications of this unit. This engine is likely to be a turbo unit of the 0.66-liter unit found on the regular variant of the Alto.
