Suzuki Ertiga scores 4/5 in ASEAN NCAP crash test
Not as safe as the Suzuki Ciaz despite being a more family-oriented car.
Along with the Suzuki Ciaz, the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) tested the Suzuki Ertiga also last month. Like the Ciaz, the Ertiga was given a 4-star rating out of the maximum 5-star rating in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) assessment. Similarly, like the Ciaz, the Ertiga also performed poorly in the in the Child Occupant Protection (COP) assessment.
The Suzuki Ertiga had only 33% compliance with the COP assessment standards and was given 2-star rating out of the maximum 5-star rating. Suzuki can at least boast the AOP assessment, in which the Ertiga scored 12.39 points out of the maximum 16.00 points.
