Suzuki Ertiga Cross (Maruti Ertiga Cross) rendered
The 2018 Suzuki Ertiga (2018 Maruti Ertiga) had its world debut at IIMS 2018 yesterday. Now, a speculative rendering from Indonesia Automotive Design visualises a Suzuki Ertiga Cross (Maruti Ertiga Cross) variant.
In October last year, a report said that Maruti Suzuki is planning a crossover variant of the second-gen Maruti Ertiga (codenamed: Maruti YHB), internally known as ‘Maruti YHB derivative'. Suzuki had also showcased crossover variant of the first-gen model in concept form at IIMS 2012 (pre-facelift) and GIIAS 2015 (facelift).
The Suzuki Ertiga Cross seen in the rendering features the Suzuki S-Cross (Maruti S-Cross)’ front bumper and alloy wheels, side moulding, body cladding, black roof and ORVMs and the Baojun 560’s roof rails for a crossover-like rugged styling. While the rendering does not show it, the actual model is expected with higher ground clearance. The new generation model, with a ground clearance of 180 mm, rides 5 mm lower than the previous generation model.

Pre-orders for the 2018 Suzuki Ertiga in Indonesia have commenced, with reports placing its Indian launch in August.
