Suzuki GSX-R150 showcased at BIMS 2017

The Suzuki GSX-R150 was first introduced in Indonesia.

The new Suzuki GSX-R150 has been showcased at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2017.

The Suzuki GSX-R150 is powered by a 147.3 cc mill capable of producing 19.17 PS of power and 14 Nm of torque.

The Suzuki GSX-R150 gets features like keyless control, Suzuki Easy Start System, LED headlight and LCD instrumentation. Colour options include Blue, Black and Red. The bike follows the design philosophy of the flagship 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000R while fuel tank’s origins are traced back to the Suzuki Gixxer retailed in India.

The Suzuki GSX-R150 measures 2,020 mm in length, 700 mm in width and 1,075 mm in height. Ground clearance of the bike is 160 mm and the seat height is an approachable 785 mm. The bike, with a kerb weight of 131 kg, boasts of a best in class power to weight ratio. The motorcycle, however, misses a LED taillamp and gets a halogen unit.

Powering the 2017 Suzuki GSX-R150 is a 147.3 cc single cylinder, water-cooled mill coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 19.17 PS of maximum power at 10,500 rpm and 14 Nm of peak torque at 9,000 rpm.

The Suzuki GSX-R150 has been priced at THB 84,900 and is reportedly not on the business plan of Suzuki India.
