Suzuki GSX-S750 vs Triumph Street Triple S - Spec comparison

Suzuki recently launched its second CKD product, the Suzuki GSX-S750 in the country. It goes head-to-head with the Triumph Street Triple S.

The motorcycle gets halogen headlamp and an LED tail lamp.

Both the products are entry-level naked street fighter motorcycles from their respective brands. The design of the GSX-S750 draws inspiration from its litre-class brother, the GSX-S1000. The Suzuki GSX-S750 features Suzuki Easy Start System which helps in starting the motorcycle with just a simple press of the starter button. There’s a low-rpm assist for negotiating in traffic and there’s a three-mode traction control system as well. Mode one is for sport riding; mode two for typical road conditions, and mode three delivers maximum traction control. The Triumph Street Triple S gets switchable traction control, and two riding modes: Rain and Road.

Triumph launched the new Street Triple S in June, last year.

Both the motorcycles come with dual-channel ABS as standard. The GSX-S750 is heavier and has a 10 mm higher seat as well. On the other hand, the Street Triple has a marginally bigger fuel tank capacity. When it comes to value for money, the GSX-S750 undercuts the Street Triple S by INR 1,74,500. The on-road price of the GSX is likely to match the ex-showroom price of the Street Triple S.
