Suzuki has not introduced the 1.0- and 1.4-litre Boosterjet turbocharged petrol engines with the facelift, but has replaced the CVT with the 6-speed automatic transmission.

The facelift has brought a newly-designed radiator grille with vertical chrome slats and chrome surround, slightly reshaped headlamps with fresh graphics and LED lighting, LED daytime running lights, a wide-mouth lower grille, remodelled bumper and a resculpted hood.

The JDM-spec 2017 Suzuki S-Cross measures 4,300 mm in length, 1,785 mm in width and 1,595 mm in height, has a wheelbase of 2,600 mm and a ground clearance of 185 mm. It's powered by the M16A 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 117 PS at 6,000 rpm and 151 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission, which replaces the CVT. Fuel economy is rated at 16.2 km/l in the front-wheel drive model and at 15.2 km/l in the four-wheel drive model with the new generation ALLGRIP system.
