Indonesia gets the old, pre-facelifted Suzuki S-Cross.
Suzuki is showcasing the Suzuki S-Cross at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2016 (GIIAS 2016). The car seen in these images, courtesy Rushlane, is the petrol variant of the pre-facelift S-Cross.
Unlike Europe, where the Suzuki S-Cross received a facelift last month, the S-Cross petrol launched in Indonesia doesn't feature the K10C 1.0-litre BOOSTERJET three-cylinder engine or the K14C 1.4-litre BOOSTERJET four-cylinder engine. Instead, Suzuki has employed the old M15A 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine.
The M15A engine for the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross has been tuned to produce 80 kW (109 PS/107.24 hp) at 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. Transmission choices include 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.

The Maruti S-Cross is currently offered with the 1.3-litre DDiS 200 diesel engine that delivers 66 kW (88.47 hp) at 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm of torque and the 1.6-litre DDiS 320 diesel engine that develops 88 kW (117.96 hp) at 3,750 rpm and 320 Nm of torque. The DDiS 200 engine is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission, while the DDiS 320 engine is linked to a 6-speed manual transmission. Maruti-Suzuki is reportedly considering a petrol model, and it could be powered by the aforementioned M15A engine of the Indonesian-spec SX4 S-Cross.
