CG MotoCorp to launch Suzuki Vitara Brezza by May-end in Nepal

One of the first international markets to get the Vitara Brezza.

The Himalayan Times reports that CG MotoCorp, authorized distributor of Maruti Suzuki in Nepal, is prepping to launch the Vitara Brezza for sale in the country by May-end. The car will be launched with the dual colour, the distributor has confirmed via its official Facebook page.

The Vitara Brezza is Maruti's first ever compact sub-4m SUV, measuring 3,995 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width, 1,640 mm in height, 2,500 mm in wheelbase and has a ground clearance of 198 mm. Its only rival in the Nepalese market is the Ford EcoSport.

The top-end ZDi+ grade of the Vitara Brezza is equipped with projector headlights with LED DRLs and automatic feature, 16 inch alloy wheels, optional dual tone exterior color, automatic climate control, cruise control, 60:40 split seats, 7 inch SmartPlay touchscreen system with inbuilt navigation and reverse parking camera and start/stop button. A driver's airbag is standard across the range, whereas a front passenger airbag and ABS+EBD is optional in grades below Z in the Indian specification.

The only engine option available is a 1.3-liter DDiS four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque. It is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission, sending all the power to the front wheels. In India, the Brezza registers a class-leading, ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 24.3 km/l.
