Will most likely be an optional upgrade.

Tesla Motors didn't reveal the complete specifications of the Tesla Model 3 at its unveiling last month as the car was still a prototype then, and changes are being made to make it better.

The Tesla Model 3 will be available in single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive configurations.

While development continues, Elon Musk, CEO, Tesla Motors, is giving timely updates about the Model 3, even revealing some specifications via his Twitter handle. In his latest post, Musk confirms that the Tesla Model 3 will be available with the 'Ludicrous' driving mode.

Specifying the optional Ludicrous performance upgrade offers the quickest 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) acceleration time in the Tesla Model S P 90D (2.8 seconds, down from standard 3.1 seconds) and Tesla Model X P 90D (3.2 seconds, down from standard 3.8 seconds). The Ludicrous mode will most likely be an optional upgrade in the Model 3 as well.

The Tesla Model 3 will offer driving range of 215 miles (346 km) in base configuration.
