Turkish made SUV now available to order in Europe.
Toyota is showcasing the Toyota C-HR at the 2016 Bologna Motor Show in Italy. The new compact SUV is now available to order in Europe.
Short for "Coupe High-Rider", the Toyota C-HR is the company's second model to be based on the TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) modular platform. The Euro-spec Toyota C-HR measures 4,360 mm in length, 1,795 mm in width and 1,565 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,640 mm. It's available in seven variants in Europe.
The Euro-spec Toyota C-HR is available with the 8NR-FTS 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 85 kW (113.94 hp) at 5,600 rpm and 185 Nm of torque at 1,500-4,000 rpm, and the 2ZR-FXE 90 kW (120.64 hp) 1.8-litre petrol-electric hybrid engine. The 1.2-litre engine can be had with a 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission, but the 1.8-litre engine is paired to an electronic continuously variable transmission as standard.
Two-tone exterior, LED headlights, 18-inch machined-face alloy wheels, boomerang-shaped tail lamps with signature LED light-guides, black roof, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated driver's and front passenger's seats, 4.2-inch MID screen, 8-inch Toyota Touch 2 infotainment system and 9-speaker JBL premium sound system are some of the noteworthy features of the Euro-spec Toyota C-HR.
Toyota also offers advanced safety features like Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Control and Road Sign Assist on its smallest European SUV.
