Top-end variants of the Toyota Calya will ride on 14 inch alloy wheels, as seen in the spyshot.

Spyshots have revealed the final exterior design of the Toyota Calya, which draws cues from the Toyota Agya and Avanza. It measures 4,070 mm in length, 1,655 mm in width and 1,600 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,525 mm and a ground clearance of 180 mm.

The front-end has a bold chrome bar flanked by a pair of regular headlamps, while the bumper houses a large hexagonal grille and foglamps. At the back, it features Innova-inspired taillamps, roof spoiler and a bold chrome applique above the registration plate area. Top-end variants will ride on 14 inch alloy wheels, as seen in spyshots.

It is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard, while a 4-speed automatic transmission is available in both grades.

4. Features

Similar to the Toyota Avanza-Daihatsu Xenia relationship, Daihatsu will also launch a rebadged version of the Calya - dubbed as the Daihatsu Sigra. One of the biggest differences with the Calya is that the Sigra will additionally offer a smaller 1KR-FE 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 67 PS (66.06 hp) and 89 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
