First live images of the Toyota Corolla facelift emerge
Will launch in Russia this summer.
The facelifted 2017 Toyota Corolla has been unveiled at an event in Russia. The prices and variants will be revealed closer to its launch this summer.
The exterior of the new Toyota Corolla is more contemporary than before, comprising of new LED headlamps with daytime running light strips, sleeker upper grille, wider radiator grille that includes round foglamps. The rear-end of the new Corolla features redesigned LED clusters for the taillamps and a thinner chrome garnish. Toyota has also increased the ground clearance from 135 mm to 150 mm.
Inside, the design of the dashboard has been slightly tweaked. The HVAC controls have been re-designed for a simpler look with better lighting, while the side-most HVAC vents are now round in shape. Toyota also claims to have improved the quality of materials and upholstery inside. In the center is a new Toyota Touch 2 system with navigation as standard, while the instrument cluster features a 4.2 inch MID display with updated software.

Toyota has not revealed the engine options of the new Corolla. They claim that improvements have been made to the ride quality, electric power steering, and noise insulation in the cabin. Post its launch in Russia this year, the Corolla facelift is expected in the Indian market next year.
