Indonesia Live - Toyota Fortuner TRD, Fortuner 4X4 special edition
PT. Toyota Astra Motor has brought two Fortuner variants today to the IIMS 2014 (Indonesia International Motor Show 2014).
Toyota Fortuner TRD Edition
With non-performance accessories from Toyota's racing arm TRD, the first exhibit is based on the Fortuner 'G' variant. At the front the car sports a matte black finish on the grille with a red stripe hosting the TRD emblem, bonnet air scoop, matte black bumper inserts, auxiliary side mirrors on the bonnet and LEDs on the airdam.
Moving to the side the car features red and black body graphics and dull grey alloy wheel finish. At the rear the car sports a large roof spoiler, bumper extensions, and a chrome finisher for the exhaust tip.
Toyota Fortuner 4x4 special edition
Based on the 'G' variant with four-wheel drive, the Fortuner 4x4 special edition gets a matte black body, chrome extensions on the foglamps, LED lamps, all-season tyres and 4X4 badging on the pillar.
There are no engine upgrades on these special editions. The Fortuner uses a 160.4 PS (158.2 bhp) 2.7-liter petrol or a 144 PS (142.03 bhp) 2.5-liter diesel engine in Indonesia with transmission options including a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic.
