2016 Toyota Hilux Revo - 2016 Thai Motor Expo

Toyota Thailand showcased the locally-made 2016 Toyota Hilux Revo Smart Cab in G trim level at the Thai Motor Expo held from 1-12 December.

The Toyota HiLux Revo G can be had in four configurations in Thailand: 4x2 2.4G, Prerunner 2X4 2.4G, Prerunner 2x4 2.8G and Prerunner 4x2 2.4G AT. Except the Prerunner 4x2 2.8G, all other models get the 2GD-FTV 2.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 110 kW (150 PS) at 3,400 rpm and 343 Nm of torque at 1,400-2,800 rpm. The model seen in the images is the 4x2 2.4G model.

The 2.4-litre diesel engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission in the 4x2 2.4G model, a 6-speed manual transmission in the Prerunner 2x4 2.4G model and a 6-speed automatic transmission in the Prerunner 4x2 2.4G AT model.

The Toyota Hilux Prerunner 2x4 2.8G packs the 1GD-FTV 2.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that delivers 130 kW (177 PS) at 3,400 rpm and 420 Nm of torque at 1,400-2,600 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed iMT (intelligent manual transmission).

Noteworthy features of the Toyota Hilux Revo G 4x2 2.4G include daytime running lights, black interior, colour Multi Information Display, 6-speaker CD player with Bluetooth connectivity, ABS with EBD and driver, passenger and driver knee airbags. The Hilux Revo G 4x2 2.4G is priced at 755,000 baht (INR 14,32,271.61).
