Clearer image of India-spec Toyota Innova Crysta - Spied

A clearer image of the India-spec 2016 Toyota Innova poster has surfaced online, further confirming that it will the called the Toyota Innova Crysta when launched. The Innova Crysta will make its Indian premiere at Auto Expo 2016 that opens its door next week.
This is not the first time TKM has used the name ‘Crysta’, It has been used for a special edition on the Toyota Innova, which suggests that Innova Crysta could be a more premium option for private customers, while TKM may continue the first generation Innova for fleet buyers.
For a more premium image, the Innova Crysta will be equipped with features such as projector headlights, alloy wheels, keyless entry and go, a touchscreen entertainment system, automatic climate control, a multi-function steering wheel, leather seats and optional captains chairs for the second row.

Based on a new ladder-frame platform from the 2015 Toyota Hilux, the Toyota Innova Crysta is likely to pack a 2.4-liter GD diesel engine with 149 PS and 342 Nm or even a 2.0-liter Dual VVT-i petrol engine capable of 139 PS and 187 Nm. Paired to the engines are either 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.
A petrol option of the Innova Crysta could circumvent the Supreme Court ban on diesel vehicles with engine capacity greater than 2,000 cc in Delhi NCR.
