Triumph Motorcycles UK inaugurated its Visitor Experience, Cafe and Store in the country; and at the venue, the brand unveiled the Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black as well.

The Bobber Black features better suspension, brakes, headlight and comes with cruise control as standard.

The Bonneville Bobber Black retains the essential Bobber design language but gets a few mechanical upgrades, apart from the darker visual theme. For starters, the bike gets upgraded brakes in the form of dual 310 mm front discs with Brembo two-piston callipers. The rear employs a single 255 mm disc with Nissin single-piston calliper, and both brakes come with ABS.

The suspension is uprated as well, with 47 mm Showa front fork with cartridge damping. The standard Bobber uses KYB front fork. The rear of the Bobber Black comes with same KYB monoshock with linkage. The front and rear travel are the same, at 90 mm & 77 mm respectively. Triumph has replaced the 19-inch front spoke wheel with a 16-inch unit, shod with a fatter rubber measuring 130/90 B16. The rear continues with the 150/80 R16 tyre.

Coming to the powerplant, the Bobber Black continues to use the 1,200cc SOHC parallel twin mill with liquid cooling and fuel injection. It generates 77 PS of power at 6,100 rpm and 106 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The transmission is a 6-speed unit. Instead of brushed metal finish, the Bobber Black features matte black treatment on the engine casings, exhaust header and exhaust pipes.

The bike gets black treatment for a meaner look. It also comes with a fatter front tyre.

The Bonneville Bobber Black also features full LED headlamp, and cruise control as standard, in addition to the ABS; switchable traction control; road and rain riding modes, and immobiliser. The bike comes in two colours- Jet Black and Matte Jet Black. Triumph is yet to announce the pricing. The British brand also unveiled a more practical version of the Bobber, the Bonneville Speedmaster at the venue.
