Triumph has announced the price of the Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster in the UK. The price of the bike starts from GBP 11,650, OTR for the Jet Black colour.

The Speedmaster is a more capable cruiser than the Bobber.

In comparison with the Triumph Bonneville Bobber, the Speedmaster is only GBP 1,050 more expensive. For that price, you get the Bobber styling but with a lot more practicality, thanks to the pillion seat. Triumph has designed the rear subframe to accommodate seat and the grabrail. Unlike the standard Bobber, the Speedmaster features dual 310 mm front discs with Brembo callipers. The rear uses a 255 mm disc with Nissin calliper. The headlamp is a full-LED unit. For laidback ergonomics, the cruiser employs beach bars and forward-set footpegs.

The Speedmaster employs the same 1200cc SOHC parallel twin engine with liquid cooling as the Bobber. It generates 77 PS of power at 6,100 rpm and 106 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine mates with a 6-speed transmission with assist clutch. The bike gets a three-litre bigger fuel tank than the Bobber, at 12 litres. Electronics package include ABS with switchable traction control; ride-by-wire with two riding modes- road and rain; and cruise control.

Triumph also offers a range of accessories to customize as per the rider's needs.

The cruiser rides on 41 mm KYB front fork with cartridge damping, and a rear KYB monoshock. The front and rear spoke wheels are 16-inch units. They are shod with Avon Cobra tyres measuring 130/90 B16 at the front and 150/80 R16 at the rear. As per European regulations, the claimed fuel efficiency stands at 24.3 kmpl.

Triumph unveiled the motorcycle in the country in October, last year. The Cranberry Red colour variant is GBP 125 more than the Jet Black colour variant. The Fusion White and Phantom Black colour scheme is GBP 300 dearer than the base Jet Black colour.
