Triumph Bonneville Street Twin, Triumph Bonneville T120 launched - Auto Expo 2016

All models get ABS and Traction Control as standard.

Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the 2016 Triumph Bonneville range at the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida. The company showcased and announced the prices of two of the three Bonneville versions. The Thruxton R will be unveiled and launched in the coming months.

Triumph Bonneville Street Twin Silver side at Auto Expo 2016

Triumph has commenced bookings for the new Bonneville across the country. Deliveries of the Bonneville Street Twin will commence in March while the T120 will hit the road in April. The Thruxton R will be delivered to customers from July, within when its price would be announced.

The new range of Bonneville was unveiled at the 73rd EICMA in Milan last year. The models feature a revised chassis, new suspension, and new powertrains that deliver higher outputs. The motorcycles are are also provided with a host of electronic functions that adds to the handling and safety.

The Triumph Bonneville Street Twin gets a 900 cc twin-cylinder air- and liquid-cooled engine that produces 80 Nm of torque at 3,200 rpm which a hike by 18 percent over the entry-level Bonneville of the previous generation. The model is available in Matt Black, Jet Black, Aluminium Silver and Cranberry Red colours.

The T120 and T120 Black are powered by a 1,200 cc air- and liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that generates a peak torque of 105 Nm that is 54 percent more than what is available on the T100. This model has two riding modes - Road and Rain. The T120 is offered in Lava Red, Cranberry Red / Aluminium Silver, Jet Black / Pure White, and Jet Black tones.

The Thruxton and Thruxton R use an up-tuned version of the 1,200 cc twin-cylinder engine. It delivers 112 Nm of torque which is 62 percent more than the peak torque on the previous iteration of the Thruxton. These two variants get three riding modes – Road, Rain and Sport. The Thruxton twin can be ordered in Diablo Red or Silver Ice colours.
