The body style follows the looks of the bigger T120, and the bike is decked with an LED taillamp, ride by wire, switchable traction control, torque assist clutch, engine immobiliser and an under-seat USB charging socket.

The new Bonneville T100 gets a 900 cc high torque, 8 valve, SOHC, parallel twin mill. It churns out 55 PS of maximum power at 5,900 rpm and 80 Nm of peak torque at 3,230 rpm. With a 270 degree firing interval, this is the same mill seen in the Triumph Street Twin (not sold in Thailand).

The engine delivers 22 percent more power in the mid-range as against the previous generation T100, while the torque has grown by 18 percent. Braking is overseen by a 310 mm single floating disc in the front with twin-piston Nissin callipers and a 255 mm disc in the rear with twin piston callipers by the same brand.

The mechanicals is the same as the standard version, and the bike is differentiated with black wheel rims, peashooter exhaust in matte black finish and blackened engine cover. Both the Triumph Bonneville T100 and T100 Black get 41 mm forks from KYB in the front and twin KYB shocks with adjustable preloads in the rear.
