Both models differ in their terrain capabilities. While the XRx featuring alloy wheels is more suitable for tarmac roads, the XCx features spoke wheels which can be handy while light off-roading.

The Triumph Tiger XRx also features twin power sockets. Apart from these differences, both the motorcycles feature the same tubular steel trellis frame and cast aluminium swingarm, and get four-way traction control system, cruise control and ABS as standard.

The Triumph Tiger XCx and XRx employ a 3-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 800 cc engine that produces 94 PS power and 79 Nm torque, mated to a six-speed transmission.
