TVS Apache RR 310 spied at Madras Motor Race Track
The TVS Apache RR 310 has been spied sans camouflage ahead of its official launch on December 6. A Facebook page that goes by the name - Biker Memes Tamil has shared these images.
The motorcycle was spotted at the Madras Motor Race Track, near Chennai. KTM RC 390 and Kawasaki Ninja 300 are also present, presumably for comparison. The spy images reveal the presence of DOHC technology in the engine, and ABS. TVS released a teaser video of the motorcycle recently, and the bike gets bi-LED headlamps, all digital instrumentation, and upside down front forks with gold finish.

The concept version of the bike was first showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in India. The motorcycle derives its powerplant from the BMW G 310 R. In the German bike, the 313 cc single cylinder, DOHC engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection pairs with a 6-speed gearbox. It generates 34 PS of power at 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. Expect TVS to tune this mill to suit the character of the Apache. The specifications and features of the bike were leaked recently.
The TVS Apache RR 310 will lock horns with the KTM RC 390 in the price segment. Speaking of the price, expect the bike to cost around INR 2 lakhs. Other rivals in the 300cc segment include Kawasaki Ninja 300, and the Benelli 302R.
