TVS may showcase a concept at the Auto Expo - Report
As per a report from Autocar, TVS may showcase a concept motorcycle at the 2018 India Auto Expo in February.
The website reports that the concept may be a sporty motorcycle, in line with the company’s affinity towards the performance segment. In the previous Auto Expo in 2016, the Hosur-based manufacturer showcased the TVS Akula 310. The production version of the bike entered the Indian market last month as the Apache RR 310. In the 2014 Auto Expo, the company showcased the Draken - X21 concept, which later became the Apache RTR 200 4V.

Coming back to the upcoming concept, TVS has not revealed any details of the bike so far. The company may also launch the 2018 Apache RTR 160 at the expo. The bike was last spotted testing in November last year. To compete in the performance scooter segment, the company is also working on a 125 cc scooter, which has been spied a number of times in the last couple of months.

In November last year, Indian company launched the fuel injected variant of the Apache RTR 200 4V. The auto major will reportedly launch the electric version of the Jupiter in June, this year. This would give the brand a foothold in the burgeoning electric segment as well.
