The all-new TVS ENTORQ210 Scooter Concept has been unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida. It is a smart, premium touring scooter concept that has been developed in-house. It envisions a performance scooter that is easy to ride in the city and has the capability to cruise on the highway at a high speed.

The ENTORQ210 is powered by an all-aluminium 212.5 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel injected engine, mated to an advanced Variomatic transmission system. The motor enables the touring scooter to reach a top speed of 120 km/h. The model is based on a next generation 'Platform Technology' that is characterised by a lightweight high-grade steel chassis and a suspension system that comprises of an inverted fork and a monoshock at the rear. The scooter rides on large wheels with radial tubeless tyres. Together, the ENTORQ210 is touted to have a motorcycle-like ride quality and the comfort of a scooter. The braking system has roto-pedal dual brake discs with ABS.

The salient features of the TVS ENTORQ210 concept include an intelligent smartphone integration with GPS navigation and online connectivity, smart key, multifunction TFT instrument console, push button for start/stop, a large under-seat storage and an 8.5-litre fuel tank. TVS Motor Company states that the new platform will be used on the company's upcoming big-wheeled scooters for the networked and highly connected smart cities of the future.
