TVS Motor launches range of riding gear and causal wear

TVS Motor Company has launched a range of riding gear and casual wear at MotoSoul 2019. These will be retailed under the TVS Racing Performance Gear and promises premium build quality at affordable prices.

TVS Racing Performance Riding Gear will be a great first step for budding riders to build their collection of riding gear.

TVS Racing Performance Gear range of riding gear consists of helmets, jackets, riding pants, gloves, and boots. Riding jackets are priced in the range of INR 5,600 to INR 5,700 and offer 1 CE level of protection. Riding pants carry a sticker price of INR 4,900 while the range of full-face helmets starts at INR 2,500. Besides that, the casual wear range includes jackets, jeans, shoes, caps, sunglasses, T-shirts and bags. This range also includes a denim riding jacket which boasts 1 CE level of protection for shoulders and elbow. Also on offer are denim pants with a similar level of knee protection.

The new TVS Racing Performance Gear range will be available only at select dealerships. However, one has the convenience to easily buy these online at the click of a button.

Interestingly, TVS Motor will not be attending the upcoming Auto Expo 2020 in February next year. The Chennai-based manufacturer is expected to launch its new product, the TVS Zeppelin which it had showcased first in concept form at Auto Expo 2018. This power cruiser in concept form was showcased with a 220 cc single-cylinder mill with an Integrated Starter Generator. TVS had even claimed that the production model will come with best in class fuel efficiency. The concept also had a 1.2 kW regenerative assist motor powered by a 48-volt lithium-ion battery.

The TVS Zeppelin promises to be a power cruiser with best in class fuel efficiency.

The TVS Zeppelin will get aggressive yet comfortable ergonomics. Other key features will include tubeless tyres (with spoke wheels), upside-down fork, all LED lighting and digital instrumentation. The latter will also get the SmartXonnect technology which was recently introduced in the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
