Nepal - TVS Phoenix launched at 1.69 lakh Nepalese rupees

The TVS Phoenix 125cc motorcycle has been launched in Nepal. The commuter will be sold through CG Moto Corp, TVS' official distributor in Nepal.

The Phoenix targets customers looking to upgrade from commuters without compromising on mileage.

According to the company, the Phoenix is targeted at customers who are looking to upgrade from a commuter bike but without compromising on fuel economy. CG Motor Corp expects to grow TVS' market share with the help of the new motorcycle.

The TVS Phoenix is powered by a 125cc 4-stroke air cooled engine that is capable of 11PS and 10.8 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 4-speed transmission. The bike delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 67kpl and has a best in class power-to-weight ratio of 96.4 bhp per tonne.

The bike comes with fully digital instrument console, LED pilot lamps, alloy wheels, roto petal front disc and dual tone body graphics.

Having launched the bike in Nepal, Auro Asish Choudhuri, General Manager, international business at TVS Motors, said -

As of now, we are present in the economy, executive and premium segment of motorbike segments. This launch will increase our market share in the segment.

He added that TVS will roll out attractive offers during the upcoming festive season of Dashain and Tihar in Nepal.

The TVS Phoenix carries an introductory price of 1,69,900 Nepalese rupees (around 1.08 lakhs INR).
