TVS says touring segment still nascent; no adventure bike for now - Report
In an interview with Autocar, Arun Siddharth, Vice President Marketing of TVS Motor Company opined that the touring segment is still nascent in the country, and is something that the brand needs to watch.
Speaking to the media house, he said that the company is looking at it, but is yet to determine the importance of being present in the segment at this stage. He also revealed that TVS Motor Company is concentrating its efforts on racing and that they feel there’s still a long way to go when it comes to product and experience. The brand is looking to be the benchmark in the sports segment. The Hosur-based manufacturer is not looking to enter the adventure touring segment as of now since it is busy with the Apache RR 310 and the customer experience they offer with it. This includes events like One Make Championship racing and rider training programmes.
