The Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 will get a new oil-cooled twin cylinder motorcycle.

Just like the previous spy shot, the bike sports a black exhaust canister. The units spotted in Europe though had chrome canisters. The Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 will be the company’s attempt to gain global dominance in the middleweight segment which is the displacement bracket between 250-750 cc.

The Royal Enfield Continental GT will be competing against the Harley Davidson Street 750 which is also manufactured in India and exported. The output too can be expected to hover around the entry level motorcycle by the American manufacturer.

The upcoming Royal Enfield Continental GT though will include a few cost cutting measures adopted to keep the price tag under check. The first being the use of an air-cooled engine assisted by an oil-cooler. The use of fancy LEDs too will be given a miss. Parts like the switchgear, instrumentation and headlamp can be sourced from the smaller capacity, single-cylinder Royal Enfield Continental GT 535.
