Updated 2018 Hyundai i20 (Elite i20) rendering
Rendering updated based on fresh spyshots.
Hyundai is expected to bring out the Hyundai i20 facelift next year and has started testing the model in India. IAB's automotive illustrator has created a second rendering of the 2018 Hyundai i20 depicting the expected changes based on fresh spy shots.
Compared to the previous rendering, the 2018 Hyundai i20 incorporates an updated hood design, darker headlamps with revised graphics, remodelled bumper with round fog lamps instead of horizontal daytime running light strips and wider air dam grille. The Cascading grille, a signature element of newly-designed Hyundai models, remains unchanged from the previous rendering. The facelift will get new alloy wheels and will have the registration plate at the rear lifted up from the bumper to the tailgate.

Despite changes to the front and rear, the Hyundai i20 is expected to remain the same car dimensionally. The current model measures 3,985 mm in length, 1,734 mm in width and 1,505 in height, has a wheelbase of 2,570 mm and offers a ground clearance of 170 mm. An upgraded infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, MirrorLink and satellite navigation was introduced with the recent yearly update in April, hence a drastic change cannot be anticipated in the cabin.

The 2018 Hyundai i20 is said to go on sale in India in early 2018, and Hyundai could program its public debut at the Auto Expo 2018 in February. The current model starts at INR 5,36,624 (ex-showroom) and a small price hike is likely with the facelift.
