Vespa SXL and Vespa VXL launched in India, starts from INR 77,308 - IAB Report

Piaggio-owned Vespa has launched an updated range of scooters in Mumbai today. They were unveiled by Vespa’s new brand ambassador, Italian football star Alessandro Del Piero.
Available in two variants, Vespa SXL and Vespa VXL, the new scooter packs an all new 150 cc 3 valve single cylinder, air cooled engine which generates 11.6 bhp at 8000 rpm and 11.5 Nm at 6250 rpm. It is also available with a smaller 125 cc single cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 10.06 PS and 10.6 Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to a CVT gearbox.
As for salient features, both the Vespa SXL and Vespa VXL come with a re-worked front end, new seats, updated 11 inch alloy wheels, a multi-information display, broader tubeless tires and a disc brake in the front.
