Volvo S90 final design leaks via scale model - Spied
Name confirmed as Volvo S90.
The final exterior design of the Volvo S90 has leaked online, thanks to new spyshots of its scale die-cast model. Also, the name "S90" appears to be confirmed, judging by the nameplate of the scale model.
As expected, the exterior design of the Volvo S90 will be influenced by Volvo's latest design language, as seen in the 2015 Volvo XC90. It gets a long grille flanked by the LED headlamps with Thor hammer DRLs, and a new bumper design with chrome accents.
At the side, the S90 has a muscular shoulder line running across, chrome bezel for the window lining, and a chrome bar in the lower portion. Coming to the back, it features an angular pair of LED taillamps inspired by the Volvo Concept Coupe, bold Volvo lettering, and a pair of large exhaust tips.

Based on the new Scalable Product Architecture, the Volvo S90 will offer their range of 2.0 Drive-E four cylinder engines available in power states between 190 hp to 400 hp. An 8-speed automatic gearbox should be standard across the various engine offerings, while an AWD system could be offered in higher variants.
The Volvo S90 is expected to be revealed by the end of this year, before making a world debut at the 2016 Detroit Motor Show.
