VW Ameo launched in Bangalore at INR 5.33 lakhs
Currently available only in petrol model.
Volkswagen has launched the VW Ameo in Bangalore at INR 5,33,620 (ex-showroom).
The VW Ameo range includes three trim levels: Trendline, Comfortline and Highline, priced (before taxes and other on-road costs) at INR 5,33,620, INR 6,10,616 and INR 7,18,450 respectively. Body-coloured bumpers, body-coloured door handles, body-coloured door mirrors with integrated turn indicators, single-folding rear seat backrest, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel, ABS and dual-front airbags are standard features.
Moving up the range, noteworthy features include cruise control, automatic rain sensing wipers, reverse parking camera and sensors, Climatronic automatic climate control, remote & power (one-touch) operable windows (open & close), leather-wrapped steering wheel with chrome accents and piano finish, leather-wrapped gearshift knob, and touchscreen infotainment system, Electronic Stabilization Program (with DSG transmission only) and Hill Hold control (with DSG transmission only).

The VW Ameo is powered by the 1.2-litre MPI three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 75 PS (73.94 hp) at 5,400 rpm and 110 Nm of torque at 3,750 rpm. Transmission choices include 5-speed manual and 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic (Comfortline and Highline only on TDI). Five colour choices are available: Blue Silk, Reflex Silver, Toffee Brown, Candy White and Carbon Steel.
