1. Hyundai Verna 4S launch

Hyundai has launched the facelifted version of its mid-size sedan, the Hyundai Verna 4S. Prices start at INR 7.73 lakh and go all the way up to INR 1,219,720, ex-showroom, New Delhi. While mechanically it remains unchanged, the diesel engines get a slight improvement in fuel economy. The big change is the exterior, which gets redesigned headlamps and bumpers, new dual-slat chrome grille, etc.

2. VW Compact Sedan

VW India is working on a compact sedan, which is likely to make a debut next year at the 2016 Auto Expo. The car will be manufactured at the company's plant in Chakan, Pune. Engine options for the vehicle would include a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel unit.

3. Bajaj Pulsar 200 AS

The Bajaj Pulsar 200 AS (Adventure Sports) likely to be positioned between the existing Pulsar 200 NS and the upcoming Pulsar 200 SS has been spotted. Although it remains to be seen how Bajaj prices the bike, the vehicle could replace the Pulsar 220 F from the line up. The half-faired bike is expected to continue with the same mechanicals as the Pulsar 200 NS.

4. New Ford Figo engines

While the new Ford Figo twins continue to be tested, the engine details for the vehicles have become clearer.

Sources have mentioned that the new Figo twins will feature a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which although being the same unit as the current Figo, will develop more power and torque, thanks to a new cylinder head and other updated parts. It's also said to be fully localised. The diesel engine, on the other hand, will be the same 1.5-litre TDCi unit doing duty in the EcoSport and the Fiesta, although final power figures aren't known yet.

5. 2015 Maruti Dzire

To be launched on February 25, the 2015 Maruti Dzire (facelift) has got its details leaked all over the internet. The vehicle will boast cosmetic changes like a new grille, smoked headlamp clusters, new bumpers, new alloys or hub caps (depending of the variant). The interior won't go unnoticed either as it gets added features, while mechanical updates will ensure an increase in fuel efficiency - rated at 26.59 km/l for the diesel.
