VW Cross Polo 1.2 MPI launched at INR 6.94 lakhs - IAB Report

VW India has added a new engine variant on the Cross Polo. Earlier available exclusively with the 1.5-liter TDI diesel engine, the Cross Polo will now come with the 1.2-liter MPI petrol as well. The VW Cross Polo 1.2 MPI is priced at INR 6.94 lakhs, ex-Showroom, Mumbai.
Power for the Cross Polo 1.2 MPI comes from the same 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine seen on the regular Polo. This engine is good for 74 bhp and 110 Nm of torque, and is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. VW claims an ARAI rated efficiency of 16.47 km/l.
Since there is only one trim level on the Cross Polo range, the car is equipped with features like ABS, dual front airbags, alloy wheels, roof rails, toughened-up bumpers, skid guards and side body cladding. The Cross variants also get a different grille design.
A music system capable of CD/MP3/Radio/AUX-in, a climate control system, steering mounted controls, front and rear power windows and black upholstery are the features seen on the inside.
