According to a report on Autocar India, VW India will launch the VW Polo ALLSTAR special edition in the coming days. Among the highlights, the Polo ALLSTAR edition for India will also be available in the VW Ameo's 'Blue Silk' body color, the publication reports.
The special edition Polo made its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show this year, and was intended to promote the 2016 UEFA European Championship football tournament that took place from June 10 to July 10 in France.
For the Indian market, the VW Polo ALLSTAR edition is expected to get the 'ALLSTAR' lettering on the B-Pillar, diamond-cut alloy wheels, sill plates, among other features. It is likely to be offered on the Highline variants of the Polo 1.2 MPi and Polo 1.5 TDI. The former gets a 1.2-liter three-cylinder MPi petrol engine whereas the latter is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder diesel engine.
