VW Vento Highline Plus with LED headlights spied on test
To launch this festive season.
Motorbeam has acquired spyshots of the upcoming 2016 VW Vento Highline Plus, the new range-topping grade of the Vento that will come packed with a long list of features. It is expected to launch this festive season.
The Highline Plus variant introduces LED-powered headlamps with DRLs, which is a first in the segment. Otherwise the exterior of the Vento Highline Plus is identical to the 2016 VW Vento Highline currently on sale. The Vento underwent a major facelift in 2015, which introduced a new bumper design, 3-slat grille, LED taillamps and chrome embellishments.
Inside, all of the equipment from Vento Highline will be seen on the Highline Plus, including rain sensing wipers, auto dimming IRVM, phone book/SMS viewer and Mirrorlink connectivity as part of a new touch-screen infotainment system.

The Vento Highline Plus will be available with a 1.6-liter MPI petrol engine, a 1.2-liter TSI petrol and an updated version of the 1.5-liter TDI diesel engine. A 7-speed DSG is fitted to the TSI variant as standard, and on the TDI as an option. A 5-speed manual is standard in the 1.6 MPI and 1.5 TDI variants.
