The Yamaha FZ 25 is being retailed by a private dealership in Vietnam, reveals a report in VnExpress. Yamaha Vietnam has not officially confirmed the bike for the market.
The Yamaha FZ 25, made only in India in this specification, is powered by a 249 cc single cylinder, air-cooled mill assisted by an oil-cooler. The bike gets a lightweight, forged aluminium piston and a plated cylinder. Coupled to a 5-speed gearbox, it produces 20.9 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 20 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm.

The Yamaha FZ 25 is manufactured in India at Yamaha’s Greater Noida manufacturing facility. The company has also commenced testing of a faired version of the motorcycle which might go by the name Yamaha Fazer 25.
The report adds that the Yamaha FZ 25 has been priced at over VND 60 million (INR 1.70 lakhs). Interestingly, the recently updated 2017 Yamaha FZ150i, which is officially retailed by Yamaha Vietnam, has a price tag of VND 68 million.
