Old vs New - Yamaha FZ-S V2.0 vs Yamaha FZ-S
After numerous new color introductions to the Yamaha FZ series, the Japanese two wheeler giant has finally launched the revamped Yamaha FZ FI V2.0 series. Here is a visual comparison of the old and new FZ-S.
The new FZ-S is differentiated by means of an angular headlamp which offers more real estate for the accompanying body colored panel. The visor has also been redesigned to suit the new headlamp and is smaller than before. The new instrument console has a rectangular LED display unit which is larger than the previous unit.
In profile, the motorcycle is instantly recognizable yet incorporates plenty of upgrades. The color themes and body decals are new and so are the tank extensions. The centre panel is mildly revised and the tail section is completely reworked to include split seats, new grab rails and a license plate enclosure. The bulky silencer of the old bike has been replaced by a sleeker element, which gives it a sense of lightness.

Coming to the rear, the new bike differentiates itself with a new brake light and a new mud guard which masks the bulk of the tyres. Speaking of tyres, the Yamaha FZ V2.0 series gets new tread patterns for better grip.
