Yamaha R15 v3.0 priced in Vietnam at VND 110 million - Report

The Yamaha R15 v3.0 was first showcased in Vietnam at the 2017 Vietnam Motorcycle Show.

A report in MotoSaigon reveals that the Yamaha R15 v3.0 will be priced in Vietnam at VND 110,000,000 (INR 3.12 lakhs). The motorcycle will be imported to Vietnam from Indonesia where the bike was unveiled in January 2017. The local premiere of the bike was held at the Vietnam Motorcycle Show a few weeks ago.

The Yamaha R15 v3.0 in Vietnam is claimed by MotoSaigon to have a price tag of VND 110,000,000.

The Yamaha R15 v3.0 is the first product in the segment to get an assist and slipper clutch. It also gets Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology, LED headlamp, hazard lamps, digital instrumentation, deltabox frame and disc brakes at both ends.

The bike is suspended over upside down fork up front and a monoshock in the rear with adjustable preload. It tips the scales at 137 kg and has a fuel tank that can hold 11 litres. The Yamaha R15 v3.0 is powered by a 155.1 cc single cylinder, SOHC mill coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The fuel injected mill is capable of producing 19.31 PS of maximum power and 14.7 Nm of peak torque.

Colour options include Racing blue, Matte Black and Matte Red. The Yamaha R15 v3.0 measures 1,990 mm in length, 725 mm in width and 1,135 mm in height. It gets a wheelbase of 1,325 mm.

The Yamaha R15 v3.0 gets first in class slipper clutch and is the most powerful product in the segment.

The Yamaha R15 v3.0 is on display at Yamaha dealerships in Vietnam.
