Similar to the Maverick Viñales and Valentino Rossi’s YZR-M1 MotoGP bikes, the new YZF-R15 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition features a dual tone finish in the shade of blue and black. The new livery is accompanied by decals from some of the sponsors of the Yamaha’s factory racing team in MotoGP championships such as Monster Energy and ENEOS Performance Motor Oil & Transmission Fluid. The MotoGP edition also comes with a racing-style lever protector that is installed on the right-hand side of the clip-on style handlebar. A YZR-M1 MotoGP-inspired supersport cockpit further enhances the unique visuals of the YZF-R125 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition. Paired to a six-speed transmission, the motor delivers 14.88 bhp of maximum power at 9,000 rpm and 12.4 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. The gearbox features an Assist & Slipper clutch system. The motorcycle is built around Yamaha’s famed Deltabox frame and features premium hardware, including upside-down telescopic front forks, monoshock rear suspension, aluminium swingarm, full-LED headlights, LCD instrument console, split seats, and LED tail lamp.
