Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 gets a marginal price increase

Yamaha Motor India has revised the prices of the YZF-R15 V3.0. The increase, however, isn’t massive, and the fully-faired motorcycle now retails at INR 1,40,880* for the standard model, and INR 1,42,880* for the Darknight edition. The standard model was previously available for INR 1,40,280*, while the Darknight edition was sold for INR 1,42,280*. The MotoGP Edition continues to retail at INR 1,42,780.

The marginal increase should not affect the sales massively. The YZF-R15 V3.0 range comprises of three variants – Standard, Darknight and MotoGP edition. All three variants are distinguished by their paint schemes. The standard variant is available in two colour options – Thunder Grey and Racing Blue. The Darknight edition, on the other hand, comes with matte black paint. The MotoGP edition, as the name suggests, features special livery and decals (ENEOS and Monster Energy) that are inspired by the YZF-M1 (Factory Team) motorcycle.

All three variants share the exact same engine specifications and underpinnings. The 155 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) and fuel injection tech makes 19.3 PS of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and a peak torque of 14.7 Nm at 8,500 rpm. The six-speed gearbox features a slipper clutch system.

The braking department comprises disc brakes on both wheels, while the safety net, unlike most of its rivals, includes a dual-channel ABS (instead of a single-channel unit).

While the YZF-R15 V3.0 has received a price increase, the FZ duo is available with special festive season offers. The special offer, which is valid until 31 October 2019, brings savings of up to INR 8,280 on the products. Both, the FZ Fi and the FZ-S Fi are available at a low down payment of INR 4,999 and an interest rate of 6.9%. The Yamaha FZ-S Fi is priced at INR 98,180*, while the FZ Fi is available for INR 96,180*.
